Fine art supplier Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery has designed an illuminated sculpture depicting the letter ‘B’ for Wilson Associates' pop-up bar at Downtown Design.
The bight orange sculpture is light up by 19 light bulbs and sits atop a glass plinth.
Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery, led by creative and managing director Neel Shukla, was one of several suppliers hospitality design studio Wilson Associates worked with on its overarching ‘Just One’ concept for the seventh Downtown Design event.
Each supplier provided ‘just one’ object and Shukla said the action has helped bring local designers and creative together.
“The designers leveraged the unique partnership as a platform for a greater dialogue within the UAE’s design community, conveying [the notion] that small actions have the power to lead to big changes,” he said.
Just Bar One is a pop-up venue at Downtown Design and seeks to explore messages of hope, strength, camaraderie, kindness, and power.
Alongside Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery, Wilson Associates worked with OFIS, Sancal, Bolon, Edges Trading, Emkay Interiors, Studio Mark, Mirodec, Lasvit, Tarrab Trading, Interior 360, Kvadrat Maharam, Kens & Company, Squisito, Electra, The Lighthouse, Florette, Ege, and Preciosa.
